The designer/jeweler, Angela
Gutt (pronounced "goot") has accumulated
almost 40 years of first hand experience working
with all types of jewelry. She has owned and
operated her own stores in Connecticut for over
20 years. Angela's Fine Jewelry has grown principally
from the strength of word-of-mouth referrals
and recommendations from delighted customers.
Angela’s Fine Jewelry has built its valued reputation through its diligent, inventive employees, whom I would like to recognize briefly for their contributions to the business over the decade.
Current Employees: Keira, also known as the “little boss,” is our store manager. She oversees our operation moving upward year-round and created our store’s customer wish list. Jasmine is Angela’s daughter, and is an excellent saleslady! She is great with the customers and always has new ideas for improving the store. Brenna is the technical writer, working on write-ups for our website and various projects on the office computer. Nancy is one of our most creative salespeople. She doubles as our interior decorator, always making our store’s décor is in season. Kelley is a great self-starter and is always working on reorganizing the jewelry and computer projects.
Past Employees: Sarah is a graduate fine artist from Boston. She has art shows in Boston and set the business standard for good manners and sincerity. Pat truly cares for everyone and introduced the birthstone of the month special to our store. Kate, along with Pat, insisted on putting together the birthstone of the month special and was very generous with her care of the business. Melanie spoke out for our store and recorded a radio commercial on the Brad Davis radio show, bringing our business to a new professional level. Amanda has set the foundation for the computerization of our office. She was also the creator of our birthday club cards and designer of many of our ads.
Again, I would like to thank all of the current and former employees who have each contributed to making this business what it is today.
A wide array of jewelry fashioned
from an assortment of precious metals and gemstones
can be viewed at the Portland store. Angela
takes special delight in designing and creating
unique, custom pieces
integrating the client's composition and style
requests with her own distinctive artistry.
